Barcelona G is out of State premium mare Wynona G, who is by the international Dutch bred Grand Prix stallion Wynton (by Jazz x Matador). He was the KWPN performance test winner and went on to compete at international Grand Prix level under Dutch team rider Madeleine Witte-Vrees. Grand dam sire Belissimo M needs no introduction. A proven producer of top dressage horses with outstanding rideability, Belissimo M was short listed for the 2012 Olympic Games under Hayley Beresford.

Barcelona G has all the assets to become a fantastic dressage horse with a pedigree that produces rideability and trainability and he is a clear stallion prospect. At the Hanoverian Foal Inspection in Denmark on 1 June 2020, sister Filomena G was graded mainstudbook mare, she was rewarded with St.Pr.St and was invited and presented at the Herwart v. d. Decken Schau in Verden.
