About Stutteri G
Stutteri G
The story behind the stud and our team
Horse breeding has always been a fundamental value in Helene’s life. She grew up on Skovgården in Farum, where her parents were pioneers in horse breeding in DSA (Danish Sport Horse Breeding Association) and within New Forest Ponies Association.
Therefore, it was also obvious to revive Helenes old dream: to become a breeder herself.
Today Stutteri G – which was founded in 2014 – has finished building the modern stud farm. The largest building is the breeding section of 500 m2 with foaling boxes and open stabling department. The second and third sections consists of a training section with 21 boxes and the associated facilities: 20 × 60 indoor riding arena, 20 × 60 outdoor riding arena and a round pen.
The stud farm has grown large, and there is a need for many different competencies, each of which provides their best within their specialty.

Helene Geervliet
Helene Geervliet is the founder and owner of the stud “Stutteri G”. She grew up on the stud Skovgård in Farum where her Dutch parents bred DSA sports horses and New Forrest ponies.
She was originally a dressage rider, but she hanged the breeding and dressage career for a professional business career. After many years abroad, she returned to Denmark in 2001, where she bought a DV breeding stallion; Salomon (DVH 684), and a German state-awarded Hanoverian breeding mare; St.Pr.Wiesenträumerin 315205996, who is the progenitor of 3 breeding mares.
Helene became a state-authorized horse inseminator in 2013 and today she inseminates the mares herself.
Helene is a 100% person who has dedicated the "autumn of her life" to the dream of her youth. She does not have to be an Olympic rider herself, but it would be great if one or more of Stud’s offspring’s will reach the top.
Michelle Geervliet
Michelle Geervliet is Helene's niece and lives at the Stud with her husband and their family. Since childhood, Michelle had a great passion for horses, she is originally educated with a bachelor’s in science, worked with Animal Health Innovation and has a great interest in the horse's physiolology and health within breeding and training.
In 2017 Michelle changed career and chose her future with Stutteri G., she is co-responsible for the stud and in the process of becoming an experienced rider with the stud's trainer Carsten Vesterskov. It is a great pleasure that the stud's breeding goals can remain with long-term visons. The daughter Eliah is already both in the stable and in the saddle on the lovely dressage pony Pandora from the neighbour’s farm.
Carsten Vesterskov
Carsten Vesterskov is the Stud’s trainer and daily manager. He graduated as an exam. rider in 1992 at Arly Gundersen and during his career he has trained and ridden several horses up to championship finals and educated horses to the higher levels. He finds great joy in teaching and education students and has an important role in the development of successful equipages; hence several has been successful both nationally and internationally. Helene and Carsten have collaborated since 2007 and in 2019, to the delight of all of us, Carsten became a permanent part of the team and is based at Stutteri G. in Lynge.
Carsten has always had a great interest in breeding, he stays informed in Denmark and abroad about selections and test’s and plays an important role in the annual selection of stallions for the breeding mares.
Natacha Susanne Lund Rasmussen
Natacha has started as a trainee with our team at Stutteri G in July 2021. She has begun her education as a Horse Manager and brings great experience within handling and daily care of our horses and foals. She is professional and responsible within her field and has a great way with the horses.
Natacha is interested in perfecting herself within dressage and all the exciting work that comes with working with horses at the Stud. She fits right in as a part of the team, and we are excited to have her and to follow her exciting development.
Sanne Glargaard
Welcome to our new team member Sanne!
Sanne will together with Carsten Vesterskov train stutteri G´'s horses, and in the future Sanne will also show Stutteri G´s horses in competition.
Sanne says about herself: “I finished high school in 2002, and already then it was my dream to work with horses professionally. I got a job in the stable with Morten Thomsen, where I stayed for 3 years. Thereafter I was employed at Blue Hors and worked as a groom for Andreas Helgstrand and rode young horses.
From there I got the opportunity to travel to Germany and work as a rider in Berleburg with Princess Nathalie. After several years in Germany, I returned 2012 to Denmark and started at university, and 5 years later a graduated as a master from CBS in political communication and management. Alongside my studies, I started my own company Glargaard Horses, which I have run full time since 2016.
I ride a mix of my own horses and horses for clients, and I have horses at all levels. I love to get out and show them in competitions. But I also like teaching a lot. My biggest ambition is to ride Grand Prix, but I am also facinated by the challenge to qualify young horses for the young horse championships.
I look forward to work with the passionated team at stutteri G.”
